Ordering process & Delivery
Orders placed through the Metal Art & Design website are a binding agreement by you to Purchase the chosen product and binds you to the Terms and Conditions set out on this website.
Selected Large items will be listed for Pick up via appointment only on the website however, you can contact our team with your delivery postcode for a freight quote before placing your order.
If you accept the freight quote Metal Art & Design will email through an invoice for you.
From time to time items may be out of stock. If this happens we will notify you and advise of any lead time applicable to your order.
Please allow 1-2 Business days to pack you order for shipping. Once your order is shipped you will be notified. From this point please allow 3-7 Business days for metro areas and up to 12 Business days for remote locations.
- Please ensure you provide correct delivery address and contact details.
- On Delivery of your order please ensure you inspect the item before signing.
- If your order is damaged in transit your signature on delivery may void any warranty.
- Signing for damaged goods with out noting the damage means you accept the goods in their damaged condition.

For order pick up from Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd located at 21 Foch street, North Shore Vic 3214 please allow 1-2 business days for your pick up ready email. We can then arrange collection with you.
If you would like to Order via email and pay a 50% deposit please email your order details to info@metal-art.com.au and we can send through an invoice for you.
- No design work is started without a 50% deposit, once your deposit is made the requested design is drawn to scale and sent through for approval prior to fabrication.
- No fabrication work is started until you are happy with the design.
- Design changes outside the original scope of works may be subject to additional costs.
- Up to 2 Revisions are included free of charge, revisions after this will incur an additional fee.
Refund and replacement policy
Please ensure you read the product information before completing your purchase.
Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd does not offer a refund or exchange for change of mind.
While Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd take great care to ensure our quality, occasionally something may slip through. In the unlikely event you receive a faulty item please contact us within 7 days of receiving your product. Please include photos, reference number / receipt so we can look up your purchase and access your claim.
If your item is deemed Faulty by Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd we will either issue a refund or arrange new item to be sent to you at our discretion.
If you detect a manufactures flaw / defect with your purchase within reasonable life of your item please contact us with photo evidence so we may access and best address your issue.
If you receive the wrong item, please notify Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd as soon as possible so we may arrange collection of the incorrect item and arrange delivery of your order.
Please do not use the incorrectly supplied item, if you choose to use the incorrect product, we will assume you are happy with the item and have accepted it as your order.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from date of purchase and are not redeemable for cash.
Custom Orders
All custom orders will have a design proof emailed to you for confirmation. Please ensure you check all details before approving your design.
Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd will not be held liable for any incorrect information approved by the client.
If you provide Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd an image or design to create on your behalf Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd assume are your own original works or you have the required permission to authorise the making of the design/ product. Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd obligation is limited to creating the custom design as requested by you.

Payment
Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd Offer the following payment options – Credit card, Paypal, Bank transfer & cash.
All goods remain property Of Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd until paid for in full.
All DXF Files remain property Of Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd
All orders require a minimum of a 50% deposit before starting on the order with balance payable on pick up, before dispatch of goods or on completion if Metal Art & Design are installing the product.
Trade accounts are 7 days unless otherwise arranged and must be applied for in writing.
Fees and charges may apply to overdue invoices. Please see the trade account forms for further information.
If payment is not made Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd at its discretion may take back its property to recover its costs where possible if invoices are sent to debt collection the debt collection fees will be passed on to you.
RUST
Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd products do not come pre rusted. The rust process will occur naturally over time in the elements. To ensure rust leeching does not stain its surroundings please ensure to rust is not allowed to pool.
To protect your home and garden from any rust stains please ensure you install and maintain your products properly.
By Purchasing a product that rusts you accept and acknowledge the nature of the product. Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd is therefor excluded for any and all liability for any claim of damage caused by rust development. To best care for your products please refer to our care instructions.
Warranty & Liability
Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd where it is deemed liable, offer repair, replacement or a refund of the cost of the goods or service, providing the goods/ service have been used correctly and not been damaged by misuse, negligence, alterations by a 3rd party or a natural disaster.
Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd will not he held accountable for incorrect use of products, damage caused by incorrect use or client installed products not installed correctly or incorrect care and maintenance. Items must be maintained as per the care instructions provided. Please see our finishes and maintenance page for details.
Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd have a 10 year structural warranty from date of purchase / installation against defects in workmanship. This warranty does not include normal wear and tear or natural fading and aging of materials used, corrosion originating from scratches, chips or scuffs which can not be removed by via cleaning and maintenance or corrosion from coastal or chlorinated environments.
Powder coating warranty.
Powder coating is a finish suitable for indoor and outdoor use. While powder coat aids in protecting metal, it is not a complete corrosion protection. Corrosion spots do not affect the structural integrity of the product supplied or supplied and installed therefor is not covered by warranty. Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd can not guarantee powder coating against fading, scratching, chips, scuff marks, corrosion in coastal areas, and minor rust spots under powder coated finishes.
Third party alterations to Metal work supplied or supplied and installed by Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd Voids warranty.
Design and engineering flaws on plans submitted to Metal Art & Design Pty Ltd for fabrication are not covered by warranty.
